Dear Mildred – Sorry to inform you I know very little about mothers ancestors. Grandfather’s name was Zarabable and Grandmothers, Prudence Carver Aydelott. Mother was six years old when she died. Grandfather was eighty-one at his death.  They lived at West Cheacer Ohio, owned a small farm of 60 acres, a taylor shop in New York City, financed by him, operated by a nephew, owned Indiana Coal Fields, Brazil Indiana, he was worth $50,000.00 at one time. Father of seven children, four girls and three boys. Grandfather spoke plain English, the name Aydelott would indicate they were French.  He was a generous beauted man, helped mother and dad while they were raising their family as  much as $500.00 at a time. They had hard time supporting their family as some of Dad’s family was always with them.  Grandfather was respected and progressive. I heard mother say he liked his wine and brandy in the home.  Thanks for your Christmas wishes, I am no good at letter writing. It was nice to hear from you and give Guy and Zelda situated in the same city, and how are they?  How are the girls?  With Love to all   Pen

PS: You can see I am not equipped for letter writing and a very bad scribe.
